About Qigong

Qigong has long been practiced as a healing art in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Illness is believed to arise from blockages or imbalances in the flow of qi (vital energy) through the body. Healing Qigong, sometimes called Medical Qigong, is practiced with the intention of restoring harmony and balance.

Think of it like a cell phone call: you can’t see the signal traveling, yet it carries your message to someone instantly. In the same way, a Qigong practitioner directs healing energy toward someone—with the intention of removing pain and ailments and restoring the body’s natural balance.

Practitioner-Led Qigong

A trained Qigong healer uses gentle hand movements near the body (without touching) to help clear blockages and guide energy flow—somewhat like Reiki.

What to Expect

We’ll begin with a short conversation about your needs—whether it’s stress relief, pain relief, or another concern. You may be asked to lie comfortably on your side or back, or to sit in a relaxed position.

Then the practitioner directs healing energy to your body, bringing relief you can feel.

Sessions last under an hour (including consultation) and involve no physical contact.
